Furniture

Saturday, we went furniture shopping and actually scored some great items all in one store. We got four theatre chairs with two consoles, a beautiful executive desk, a desk chair, a University of Alabama lamp, two hounds tooth chairs for the bonus room, and a large Egg with the large table. We felt so satisfied with our purchases.

I have wanted a red leather sofa for the living room for almost five years. Saturday, Tide Guy reminded me it would have to match the Persian rug we bought while living over seas. I had forgotten about that and the rug has a lot of red in it. Yesterday, we unrolled the rug for the first time since we bought it. I realized it was a very deep red. The red leather I picked out for a sofa wasn't as deep as the red in the rug. Now I have to start all over. Either find a new red leather or find another color all together. Luckily, I did find a brown sofa both of us liked.

I'm off today and am going to a few more stores, so maybe I'll find more great, needed treasures.
