It is freezing here. This morning when I got up it was 17 degrees! The high today is about 24 or 25. That should never happen here. Tonight, the low is 9! NINE!! The high tomorrow is again 24 or 25.
We have had a drought for 2 or 3 years and we made up lots of inches on that in the past month. We've had too much rain and the ground just couldn't absorb anymore moisture. Our brickers were not able to work and the sheet rock mud wouldn't dry well. Then, we had rain coming in where we have a unique roof line. It damaged the sheet rock and insulation. All that was removed and will have to be replaced. Now with the freezing weather, the brickers still can't work due to problems with the mortar.
We picked out our interior doors and trim on Saturday. Basically, we are letting our builder use his talents on our trim. I also found the vanity I want for the Asian-themed powder room.
Gas is on the rise. Last night at our local Race Trac it was $1.68.
Hopefully we will get some warmer weather soon!
