Rumors started about a week ago that China would refer from March 1-March 20-something , 2006, this month. Twenty days sounded great to me since our log in date is November 6, 2007. We are still over 1 1/2 years away in line. Since China has been referring 3-7 days a month, 20 days would be a huge step. Well, it wasn't twenty days. Or even 10. It was 2. TWO! Yep. That's it for this month. They are now referred through March 2, 1006. The office in China is now closed for a week or so for the Chinese New Year. Maybe February will be a much more positive month.
Our running group has dwindled down. We were off work on Monday. And, due to the cold temperatures, no one ran on Tuesday. On Wednesday, there was only two of us and it was so cold and windy it hurt to breathe. The creek beside part of the track was frozen. The next day, we only had three show up. Next week should be better since it won't be as cold.
Our brickers have been able to work a few days this week and are finally on the front side of the house. It looks wonderful. I can't wait for them to remove the scaffolding from the back so we can get a good look.
Gas has gone down about five cents a gallon and is now about $1.69.
The new president was sworn in Tuesday, 20 January, 2009. That day was the worst drop in the stock market in several years. Luckily, the market rebounded a bit the following day.
